Barbara Jean Funk, 46, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in Southaven, Mississippi. Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671) with a service immediately following. Internment will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Barbara was born on March 19, 1973 in Latorbe, Pennsylvania. She loved her children and her puppies. Barbara fulfilled her dream working as a nurse at St. Jude before dedicating her life to her children. She enjoyed watching wrestling, and listening to her favorite artist which was Nickleback. She was an amazing cook and baker. Barbara will truly be missed by all her friends and family.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Adam Funk; daughter, Mykaila Funk; mother, Florence Magill; sister, Sherry Miller; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Barbara Funk is preceded in death by her daughter, Ashlee Funk; and father, James Bernard Moffa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to St. Jude (stjude.org) and the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
