Angela Donnette Sanderson, lovingly known as "Meme," passed away on September 26, 2024 in Southaven, MS, surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness. Born on June 28, 1953, in McCrory, AR, Angela lived her life full of love, laughter, and an enduring commitment to her family.

With a career that spanned two decades, Angela dedicated twenty years as an admissions manager at Baptist DeSoto Hospital before moving to Baptist Hospital in Collierville, where she continued to serve with diligence until her retirement. Her professional journey was marked by the same humor and kindness that defined her personal life.

Angela’s joyful spirit was enriched by her countless hobbies and interests. A passionate cook, she was especially known for her delicious gumbo and lasagna, always bringing comfort to those around her. She delighted in sharing stories, cracking jokes, and making others laugh. Angela possessed an artistic flair that manifested in her crafty creations, showcasing her imaginative side. Friends and family will fondly remember her quick comebacks and unyielding chatter—her vibrant personality could bring light into any room.

Angela enjoyed her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, considering these to be her proudest accomplishments. She is survived by her beloved daughter Skye Graham, her son Tyler Max Sanderson, and her adoring grandchildren, Cade Seaman and Zane Max Seaman. The joy of her great-granddaughter, Evelyn Rose Seaman, brought her immense pleasure during her life.

Angela is also survived by her siblings, Barbara Collins, Lisa Claudio (Dave), Greg Collins (Torrie Huddleston), and Stacy Max Collins (Patty), and her best friends Lynda Jordan and Larry Latham, and many other close friends, who cherished their time and memories with her. Her legacy continues through her family, who carry forward the love and laughter she shared.

Angela was predeceased by her parents, Herbert Max and Joanne (Reynolds) Collins, and her beloved husband of 49 years, George Terry Sanderson. Their loss is deeply felt by all who knew her, as they held a special place in her heart.

A memorial service to honor Angela's remarkable life will be held on September 30, 2024, at The Carter Memorial Chapel at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, leading into the service at 2:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to celebrate the beautiful memories she created.
