Andrea Gilbert Cothern,
45, was born October 9, 1971 in San Francisco, CA and passed away March 8, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto in Southaven, MS. She graduated from Southaven High School in 1990, attended Northwest Mississippi Community College, and was a server for Texas Roadhouse for 11 years, where she was affectionately known as “Nana.” Mrs. Cothern attended LaBelle Haven Baptist Church in Olive Branch. She loved people and animals and was a very giving person who enjoyed cooking for her neighbors and family. Andrea was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Mike Cothern; three children, Morgan Cothern, Garrett Cothern, and Lacey Cothern; parents, Jimmy and Donna Rogers; three brothers, Bud Gilbert and his wife, Lori, Adam Rogers, and Chris Rogers and his wife, Jennifer; one sister, Heather Baker; mother-in-law, Sue Cothern; three dogs, Lucky, Ebbie, and Ollie; and a host of other relatives and friends. at LaBelle Haven Baptist Church, 4800 Highway 305, Olive Branch, MS. Burial will follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven. The family requests that any memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 5384 Poplar Avenue, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38119
