ALVIN “BIG AL” LOONEY,

61, was born April 20, 1954 in Memphis, TN to the late Clyde and Melba Looney and passed away June 14, 2015 at his home. He served in law enforcement for the City of Southaven, the City of Horn Lake, the City of Hernando, and the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department. Big Al retired from MLG&W after 26 years and was a mason.  He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Cindy Looney; children, Ambry Adams, Michael Lance, Melissa and Thomas Harper, Jennifer Looney and Kelly McGinnis, and Paige and Ben Brown; and grandchildren, Nevin, Devin, Rhea Anne, Kylie, Jaden, Jacie, Bradyn, and Braylee.   There will be a gathering of family and friends on

11 a.m.-3 p.m.

at the Colonial Hills Church GO Center in Southaven.  Arrangements are in the care of Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS.
